Acadia University CRC Tier 2 in Agri-Food and Sustainable Agriculture

Acadia University invites applications for a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Agri-Food and Sustainable Agriculture. Tier 2 chairholders are exceptional emerging world-class scholars acknowledged by their peers as having the potential to achieve international recognition in their field. We seek an active researcher who will develop an original, innovative research program of high quality and bring a collaborative, multi/trans-disciplinary approach to this position.

This Chair will be based primarily in the Faculty of Pure and Applied Science and will be an integral part of a growing collaborative research group focused on agri-food, agri-tech, sustainable agriculture and food systems. The Chair will have demonstrated leadership in one or more of the scientific fields of biology, chemistry, environmental science, food and nutrition and data analytics. Acadia has significant agriculture-related research strengths, including food and nutrition, food product development and sensory analysis, beverage and natural product chemistry, plant development and grape propagation, fungal biology, aquatic ecosystem health, data analytics and integrated pest management.
