AIDA presents: Machine Learning with Azure Machine Learning Studio

When: Wednesday, March 23, 2016, 4:00-5:30pm
Where: Patterson Hall 107
Presenter: Susan Ibach, Microsoft Canada

Machine Learning has become a buzzword in industry. The power of predictive analytics is used in medical research, marketing, finances, professional sports and more! In this session, you will learn how to execute machine learning experiments using Azure Machine Learning Studio. No experience in data science required. Those who do have experience are welcome to attend and explore the toolset. In this session you will learn: how to use Azure ML studio to take a dataset to train a model; how to evaluate the accuracy of a trained model; and how to expose your trained model as a web service so you can create a website or application that makes its own predictions. Don’t just come to listen - bring your laptop and try it yourself!
