IEEE & Jun Wang: The State of the Art of Neurodynamic Optimization
Jun Wang will talk about using Neural Networks to learn real time optimization algorithms. It can be difficult to optimize data in real time due to the computational requirements, and neural networks can be used in order to improve the convergence on larger datasets. The talk will focus on the use of recurrent neural networks and present cutting edge neurodynamic optimization. The talk will also demonstrate some potential problems that neural networks would perform well on.
The talk will occur on Tuesday, August 9 from 1:30 to 3:30 PM at Saint Mary's University, Sobeys Building, Room 255.
