Acadia Institute for Data Analytics

Thank you for playing a role in the development of the Acadia Institute for Data Analytics (AIDA) in the past.

 

We would like to invite you to celebrate with us the start of a new phase for AIDA called the Data Runway, funded by the Province of Nova Scotia and Acadia University. The Data Runway is intended to expand AIDA’s capacity to work with new start-ups and existing businesses in the area of data analytics research and commercialization.

 

Please join us on Wednesday, December 12^th in the K.C. Irving Centre Auditorium, at Acadia University.

 

The agenda is as follows:

 

6:00-6:30 – Arrival, Refreshments and Networking, with Displays from Students

6:30-7:00 – Welcome and Thank You Messages

7:00-7:55 – Talk by Dr. Stan Matwin (CRC Tier 1, Dalhousie University, Institute for Big Data) on the Future of AI, Machine Learning and Data Analytics

7:55 – Closing and Farewell
