A Framework for Aligning Health Analytics
Digital health represents a complex and rapidly changing ecosystem. At the same time, it also creates new opportunities to leverage innovative solutions, leveraging new as well as existing data that is being generated at enormous rates in healthcare. The presentation is a framework for helping Health Delivery Organizations (HDO) think about how they can be successful in leveraging Health Analytics to support the Digital Health agenda in Canada. The framework provides: 1) practical approaches to aligning health analytics to the business strategy and digital health agenda; 2) practical considerations for designing, implementing and operating health analytics solutions in the digital health ecosystem, and 3) guidance on the way forward from health analytics leaders around increasing health analytics maturity across data, governance, culture, and IT infrastructure and skills.
